Ford Mustang Luggage Space ?

Hi
I would like to rent a mustang for a 6 day tour of the florida coasts after stopping in Orlando.
We are a family of 4 2 adults and 2 13 year olds.

Is it realistic to expect to get normal 4 person amounts of luggage in ( ie couple of larger cases and other small bags)

Also would it be tight for room on the back seats.?

Thanks

It will be tight I had one in feb and my 7 year old legs were tight to back seat. I suggest to go to a ford garage over here and have a look at one to see what you think

Have never had a Mustang but if you haven't already have a scan of Wizzo's last trip report as he has lots of information, pictures and advice re the luggage space in a Mustang.

We did a week touring the coast and 2 weeks in Orlando last year. We had an SUV whilst touring and a mustang whilst in Orlando. Mostly because we couldn’t get the cases in the mustang!

They are very cramped in the back. My 10 year old was fine but my 15 year old struggled!

It was good fun though!

Rear suitable for kids no with luggage in reality especially convertible.
You can see one at most ford dealerships in uk cars are the same.
Want a muscle car that fits 4 and luggage.
Dodge charger is the beast for you.
Enjoy

Most definitely do NOT do it. For one, not a chance the luggage will fit. Just two of us and had a suitcase taking up the whole back seat, with just a med-sized one in the boot.

However more importantly, sitting in the back of a Convertible is a special type of hell. The wind noise, buffetting. Back seat passengers will end up with deafness and a lovely headache after any type of journey where you drive over 20mph. It really is not enjoyable.

Agree with everything above, luggage space is very limited, we only hire one when me and hubby go now as we can use the back seat for luggage. We had to swap one out 2 days into a holiday a few years ago as our kids were squashed in the back and had trouble getting in and out of the car.

Ford Mustang may/ jun 2018

Hired a Ford Mustang in may for 17 days. We easily got 4 adults with loads of leg room in the back. I am 5 foot 8 inches and had load of leg room. Yo7 will struggle for boot space we get tv1 x large hard suitcase and a large hold-all plus hand luggage in the boot, that was the max room available.

As much fun as they are, 4 people and luggage will not work. If you really must do it, uber to and from the airport then pick up and drop off Mustang at closest depot to where you're staying. We hired 2 between 4 of us and on the odd ocassion we did take the one car, I can confirm it was really not nice in the back
