We travelled with the ESTA in May and I have the print off, I just didn't notice that it had such a short expiry, so fingers crossed we will be OK in August.

Have you tried logging back in and checking all the esta details as it definitely shouldn't be expiring so soon if it was for a new passport. If you did put the incorrect passport expiry date like someone else said this could cause problems as the passport details and esta won't match.

No - I wasn't aware you could do that - I'll have a look and see, or I'll just apply for a new one to be on the safe side. I thought it would be OK as I have the printout and we travelled with it in May.

Yes you can definitely log in and view the esta as I printed my inlaws at home after they'd done them.

Yep - I've checked it - my mistake - I've put the expiry date as 2018 instead of 2028 - I'm such an idiot! Guess I'd better make a new application. Good job you guys are around - thanks so much.

The only other thing it could be is did you do an ESTA for another person? Reason I ask is that I had an expiration E Mail but on checking it related to my Granddaughters ESTA not ours.

Easily done. I refuse to allow my Son to do our ESTA's as he is like Billy Wizz on the PC.

I like to take things easy and triple check.

But, how many of us haven't made these errors? I have!

Wasn't the best feeling in the World rocking up to the Arora Hotel in Crawley 2 years ago and when checking in being asked why I had 2 x bookings and I was too late by an hour to cancel one of them. £80 down the drain.
