Mobile New Virgin classes and seat selection

I booked my flights MAN-ATL-MIA before the changes were made with Virgin’s flight classes, so I am unable to select me seats for free (though I have reserved seats on the Delta leg between Atlanta and Miami) As flying club members, are we still able to select seats 72 hours before for the Virgin Flight?

This happened to us at Easter. We were still able to pick our seats 72 hours before however it played up on the way out and I had to ring Virgin up to sort. It worked perfectly on the return.

Great thanks. May be a silly question, but for the return flight, will it be 72 hours before the Delta leg, or the Virgin leg?

I'm not sure as we came home direct with VA. I would try from the Delta time and see how it goes

Is it exactly 72 hours before scheduled flight time?

How did you reserve the delta seats? Did you have to ring them? I’m doing this route in a few weeks. Thanks.

Go to the delta website put in your booking ref and you can choose your seats you also get a different booking ref from them. You can use either

It didn't work for me I just get this message "Advisory Message:Uh-oh! We're sorry, but the seat map for this flight is view only.." Never mind. I'd warned my partner that we might not sit together on the internal flights anyway..
