Thomas Cook Stansted Flight

Having flown on the Thomas Cook Stansted flight to MCO yesterday, I just wanted to reassure any future passengers that we had a GREAT flight. Over recent weeks I’ve seen lots of poor reviews for the airline so my expectations were low. I can only speak for myself but yesterday we had a great flight. Comfortable seats. On time take off & landing. The James Martin meal of chicken curry was actually very nice!
We sat in seats 2a & 2c and the extra leg room was significant, well worth the cost of reserving.
The low light of the flight was spilling a full g&t into my own lap but that was entirely my own fault 😂

With flew TC to LAX last year. Both flights were amazing wouldn't hesitate to fly with them again. Not sure what others are complaining about.

We flew Thomas Cook from Stansted on 19th July and the flight was really good. We received a free bottle of water on boarding, as well as tea/coffee/water or juice with the meal service. We enjoyed the meals on both outward and return flights, although James Martin's curry was by far the best meal, hands down! The in flight entertainment, even without paying for the premium upgrade, was good, lots of variety and there was loads to watch during the whole flight. I was impressed with the leg room; my dh is 6'4" and he sat in economy with the rest of us and had no issues. The best part of our flight was that it arrived before any of the other UK planes, so we landed to an empty immigration hall - a first! Our expectations weren't high either, but for almost £1,000 cheaper than Virgin, it was a no-brainer, in our view.
