Donz, using this link ( universalorlando/web...s?flr=0&days=1 ) gives you prices up to the end of this year. Nothing showing for 2021 yet.

Unsurprising I think. Given the Disney position on this.
What will be interesting to see is whether they use this as an opportunity for a crafty price increase. Which would be unsurprising, guess the question is 'how much'? |

Yes. The American Disney tickets are already date based just like these American Universal tickets now are.
I'm surprised it took Universal this long to swap to the same model that Disney already uses. It was bound to happen eventually. It's worth noting that this only applies to the American 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 day tickets. It doesn't apply to UK tickets. UK Universal tickets are year-specific but don't vary in price within the year. At least, not yet anyway

Did you book 14-day UK tickets for Universal? If so, then this news doesn't affect those. They will still be a similar price (although note that ticket sellers can adjust prices all the time).
This news only affects the American 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 day tickets and those tickets aren't available for October 2021 yet. And, let's face it, prices will no doubt have increased rather than decreased. I doubt they will be any cheaper.

I think some of this is due to park restrictions on numbers
