Superglue on the knocker wouldn’t work... we are trying to stop the kids knocking the door we don’t want them at the door permanently lol 😂

Can you put a hose through your letterbox so as soon as they knock you spray them? 🤣

I’d probably throw a bucket of water out the window over them and then say “oops, didn’t see you there”.

I believe they are asking them not to play in the road for safety reasons - the safety of the children plus the safety of the drivers driving in the road. In the same way that most people would tell young kids not to put their hand in a fire or not to use sharp knives. It's not about "entitlement"; kids are entitled to stick their hands in a fire if they want. It's about trying to prevent one of them being run over.

ETA, although this is specifically about playing ball games in the road, see the following response:

The ring cameras are good as they record both when you’re there and when you’re out, but you can also answer the door through them so you can tell them to go away without having to get up!

I’d be inclined to do dummy camera and a note - you are being recorded - any nuisance calls will be reported to the police.
