Flying Dublin to Manchester
I’ve previously posted this on another board - general trip planning - but got no replies. Sorry if it’s not allowed to repeat a thread!
I’m supposed to be going to visit my Mum in England in a few weeks and wondering what the airport experience is like these days? Travelling from Dublin to Manchester how busy are both airports? How busy are the flights (travelling on a Sunday) How busy are the buses from the plane to the Terminal in Manchester - have they added extra buses as they’re usually rammed?! It seemed a great idea when I booked flights a few weeks back as we haven’t seen each other since January and she lives on here own and is finding things hard. But, as it’s getting closer I’m starting to think about the practicalities and whether it is a good idea or not! I’m also worried because the case rates have increased massively since then - Ireland had positive cases equal to April yesterday! I will, of course, take all the precautions while travelling, and will self-isolate for 14 days when I get back to Ireland. |
