Older people holding hands?
I have no issue with anyone holding hands, but I could never hold hands with my wife as we are over 30 years old and neither feel comfortable walking around in public holding hands (we don't hold hands indoors either).
What's your opinion of older people holding hands, and if you are an older person do you hold hands in public? |

Very often hold hands with my OH - he says it's the only way to stop me spending!

Held hands consistently during the many stages of our journey together and I hope we are still able to hold hands until we reach the final destination.

We don't hold hands ever, but I see nothing strange about doing so whatever your age. It should just be all about what individuals feel comfortable and happy doing.

We still do it, in our 40s.
In fact, DW cannot cross a road unless she is holding mine, which is a little weird, but hey-ho.

We are not hand holders (feels odd and makes me walk awkwardly- maybe because of height difference) but it always makes me smile when I see other older couples do it.

I just love the responses from one of your threads asking about older people and you get replies from Dibbers in their 40s No offence Pookie and Neilhd but we do and we're both 74. And married 53 years. Sad world if moderate signs of affection have an age limit. Reminds me of threads on here over the years from Dibbers who want to take their old parents to Florida and it turns out that they're in their early 60s Mick
