Restaurant recommendation in Liverpool please

Daughter (15) and I are just having a couple of days in Liverpool this week. Staying at PI Albert Dock.
I wonder if anyone could please give any suggestions for going out to eat please. Daughter is quite fussy ( no Chinese or Indian) and hopefully somewhere participating in the Eat in to help scheme. I am back on plan with Slimming World so would like somewhere with healthy options if at all possible.

This would be for a couple of evening meals and breakfast.

I know we are both quite fussy !

Thanks all.

If you fancy a nice pastry for breakfast, I’d recommend Rough Hand Made Bakery in the Britannia Pavilion at The Albert Dock. It’s a lovely family run bakery, they also do lovely savoury snacks too.

This does look lovely. My daughter will definitely like this. Can’t see it being Slimming World friendly

I'd second the Casa Italia or the Casa as it's know as. Great traditional Italian food. Down the Hatch is really good vegan food, not sure if thats open yet.

Thank you, everyone’s suggestions look great. I will keep a note for when husband and I visit another time. Casa Italia looks like it might be a possibility to suit us both. Can’t book in advance just for two people though.

I have read lots of good reviews of Miller and Carter but have never eaten there. Unfortunately we cannot get a table. I wondered if anyone knows if they keep some tables back for walk in’s ?

We like to eat at Miller & Carter when we stay down by the Docks. It is right by the Premier Inn too.

We also love the Famous Fish and Chip shop. So good! Not very SW friendly though. There are all the usual chains in the town centre too.
