Why on the Bake Off do they always say

For the last bake why do they say tomorrow’s challenge when it’s obvious that it’s the same day, they’ve all got the same clothes on, even the presenters

I have always thought that they did the first two on the Saturday and the last one on the Sunday (or the day after anyway.

Presumably clothing is for continuity ?

It’s because it is. They do the first two challenges on the Saturday and then the last challenge on the Sunday. They wear the same clothes for continuity for filming.

I think they do it over two days but wear the same clothes for continuity so they can use shot s from both days.

I know the 'Place in the sun' is filmed over 5 days but they have to wear the same clothes each day for the same reason.

Strictly say tomorrow because it’s broadcast the following day. Or it used to be.

Bake-off is filmed over two days.

It is filmed the same day; you can go on-line & find the results on Saturday.

I don’t watch it but my friend does; she looks at the result on Saturday night or Sunday morning; says it saves her having to watch the results show 😃

Not sure if that will happen this year with a reduced studio audience & therefore a smaller pool of people from which to find someone to divulge the result.

Well, The Voice presenters & coaches wear the same clothes for around 6 weeks 😃

As said, it’s for continuity to be able to chop & change clips when they edit & put the episodes together.

So it is filmed over one day?
