Our little memorial stone... updated page 13….

So today I finished a little area in our garden for DD1 who died last year.

Please ignore the messy surroundings I’ll be moving onto those jobs shortly!

We had the stone carved locally and I am hoping it doesn’t look too ‘grave’ like, I filled the triangle area with different bulbs that will hopefully flower in spring and autumn... And then the pebbles and also some chakra stones, Rose quartz etc...

Whilst I was working the weather turned, the sky was dark grey, it hammered down with rain, I carried on regardless, bawling my eyes out, snot everywhere, soaked wet through... DH stood with a brolly for me but I really just wanted to feel exposed...

I suppose I’m posting this as it feels a bit like ‘therapy’ and just to say, I know times are tough, we are already locked down in Wales but we do really have to count any blessings we have because it can all be taken away in the blink of an eye...

This too shall pass...
