Hurricane Oscar

yesterday invest 94L was only given a 10% chance of forming into any sort of storm but earlier today it actually developed into tropical storm Oscar

but in the last 4 or 5 hours tropical storm Oscar has been upgraded to Hurricane Oscar and at present it is a very small Hurricane that could make landfall in Cuba on Sunday night Monday morning.

Milton started as a very small hurricane three weeks ago and we all know how that devolved

so the 2024 Hurricane season is not over just yet

So glad we no longer have to worry although we are flying into Miami on Sunday. Feel your pain and am glad to report we never had snakes in the pool pipes. Did have ds go outside one day and tell me to stay indoors but I did see him speak to our neighbour then appear with a net. Turns out he had seen something swimming in the pool which shouldn’t have been there and was using the net to evict it.

they are predicting after landfall in Cuba it will turn North East and head up towards Bermuda

but because it is such a small hurricane at present is actual path is quite unpredictable so we will have to see how it pans out over the next couple of days
