Anyone else have this strange virus?

Not Covid I tested (yes I found a load of tests in a draw so thought I’d give it a go as it has a similar feeling to when I had covid, but it isn’t).
You feel a bit grotty. Slight sick feeling, appetite gone, sort of aching in your body and head, glands up. It will then seem much better and then suddenly gets worse again. Causes me sleeping difficulties waking me up now at 2-3am three nights running.
It’s weird as you don’t feel shocking with it and there’s no blocked up nose or anything.
Anyone else got this currently? My wife just got over it and it took a week. I started Monday night. Yesterday I felt pretty good but it came back in the night.

Not the same as you YT, but I came back from Helsinki 4 weeks ago with what I assumed was a bad head cold. Took a while to feel better, but since then still up and down with feeling a bit rubbish, a persistent cough and still producing loads of muck. Haven't really felt right since then.

Both myself and my son in law have this it’s rubbish just as you think you’re getting better it’s back again ! Keeping me awake feeling tired and rundown with awful headache grotty throat but I’m now into week 3 of it !

Plenty of it going around at work too.

For the first time since Covid we are being told not to come into the office if you have symptoms.

My wife and I had some like that a few weeks back. Headaches, dry head cold and tiredness. Loss of appetite, but feeling sick that came in waves but never actually vomited.

Yes I am also suffering with this. I am also into week 3. I start to feel better for a couple of days and then awful again with no energy. Again it’s not Covid.

It could be a form on flu? Or a bad cold? I find flu tends to make me feel grotty, slightly nauseous, loss of appetite, all-over aches and shivers, and glands up. You don't have to have a runny or blocked nose or anything.

BTW, Covid tests tend to only have a shelf life of about a year. If they are out of date then they may not be any use for detecting whether it is Covid or not. (Noting that Covid has very similar symptoms to flu and is a coronavirus similar to some cold viruses). Also noting that a negative Covid test result does not mean someone hasn't got Covid (whereas a positive Covid result did mean someone had Covid).

I was rough at the weekend but nothing too bad then it went, then came back Wed-Thurs but seem ok today... so far...

Well today worse than ever, now 5 days in. Woke up with a v sore throat. No appetite at all. Sore throat gone off a bit now. Just feeling no energy, having to miss my spin Saturday class, will go for walk later.
