Anyone ever got a tattoo whilst they've been out there?

Not that I am wanting I got this in Florida piece or anything, just thought it would be pretty cool to get something done whilst we were out there.

If you have ever got one out there I would love to see pics! And the parlours you went to!

Do you have any tats already?

While I think in theory it's a cute idea, in reality its a terrible one- if you've ever been through tattoo healing you'll know why! No sun exposure, no suncream, no swimming, no tight clothing covering it, no walking on it (if on leg), washing it all the time. Not really an ideal thing to deal with on your holiday! I guess you could get it right before you fly home, but then it will be painful and uncomfortable on the flight (and if you're me it will be bleeding everywhere).

Plus, its a very good idea to pop back once or twice so your tattoo artist can check it's healed ok and make touch ups. Bit tricky to do that if they're in Orlando!

Yep got a few already. I was thinking something on the smaller side, I *think* I could handle something small on holiday but you are right it wouldn't be ideal.

Neither would taking the time out of holiday to go get it done!

You know I really didn't think of how much of a pain it would actually be...

I also considered this for a brief moment but then remembered the healing process from my previous ones and then became quite flustered at the idea of trying to care for a tattoo and not use the pool 😂

Haha well I'm preaching to the choir then if you know what its like! I had a large-ish one in June so the suffering is still fresh in my head lol.

You're right that it does sound a cute idea though!

My DD always gets a henna tattoo done in Epcot or AK. If you take good care of these they will last for a good few weeks

We looked into this and whist some tattooists were keen to take the money, we stopped the idea when one pointed out that we would need to cover up, stay out of the sun and no swimming.
