Three vs O2

Changed over to three a few years ago. No issues with signal where we live, but my reason was for the roaming calls and data that were included. Saved a fortune with them

O2 are complete pirates... I’m still with them by a thread, I did have a 3 wifi hotspot for a while - was really good, worked really well where I tried it, didn’t take it to the US though.

Myself, DH and Ds have been with three for years. We originally made the move for the roaming abroad but we have no issues in the U.K. either. We have rubbish signal at home but use WiFi calling which works fine and when we had other providers the signal
Was also bad at home.

My boyfriend is with Three and I am with O2. He has terrible coverage where we live but my coverage is fine.. I've just upgraded my phone and O2 do the free international roaming - US included now with some of their deals.

Thanks everyone, a lot of helpful comments.

I think i'll make the switch. Three say the signal in my area should very good and their current deals are so much better than O2, even before you include the free roaming. I'll have 14 days to cancel should the signal turn out to be rubbish.

Just a personal thing I buy a sim that’s gives 30 days 7nlimted calls and texts we find that works for me

I have been with 3 for years now and have no problems at home and it is fantastic while we are at our home in Florida. We use our phones a lot when we are there and even when we were there for 6 weeks I never even got remotely near my data limit.
I tend to choose the AT&T network when we are in Florida as that gives me the better coverage for our location.

Tbh i switched from o2 to 3 this year, just because of the roaming. But all the carrier's are much of a muchness. O2 arent pushing the 5g network as fast as the others in the uk, but 3 can be a little spotty when driving around where the o2 network appears more stable, less dropped calls when on the road .
