How much for dog boarding?

Just looking at booking our two labs into a home from home type boarding for while we are away. Can I just ask anyone that leaves their dogs at this type of boarding how much you would expect to pay?
We need 20 nights for their stay and been quoted just over £1000 by Barkng Mad. Seems expensive but then I've never had to use this before as my mum used to have them but it's too much for her now to cope with.
Thanks

Ours for at home boarding with someone is £30 for one dog, or they do both for £50 per night. More than 12 hours constitutes an extra night with them, so we plan it as well as we can. So usually £800 for our usual 2 weeks in Florida with night at the airport. Rabbits are another £200!

Seems insanely expensive to me. We use housesitters and pay around £20-25 a night, when we've boarded ours which hasn't been since 2014, we paid £15 a night.

We pay £35 a night for two dogs. Ours are small dogs though and require less exercise and eat less, although they get the same size accommodation as the other dogs.

I think your quote is a touch high but definitely not insanely high. I think you can shop around and find a better price however.

I pay £29 per day for home boarding my 2 Chihuahuas? I provide all food etc? If over 20 days, which it usually is! They usually give me a 10% discount?

Last year the bill for my 2 dogs and the 2 cats in a cattery was £1,140! 😭😖!

Last year we paid £30 per day. Our dog boarder only had our dog boarding along with her own dog. I’ve heard of some boarders having numerous dogs. We paid a premium for only having ours.

I work for a friend who runs a dog walking and boarding business. She charges £25 per night but will often discount for multiple dogs from the same household.

We are based just outside Newcastle so might be slightly cheaper due to location.

We pay £15 per night for 4 terriers in one huge kennel. The kennels we use are amazing with indoor and outdoor play areas. Heated kennels, walked twice a day and will go above and beyond to ensure our dogs are looked after. We had a Viszla with Myositis and they used to cook him mince to ensure he are something.
