Iphone 4

About 18 months I got DW an IPhone 4, before we could start using it we had to contect to Itunes as we only had DS netbook we used this and thought nothing of it. Now she wants to back it up and update the software but we have sold the netbook. We plugged it into the main computer but it says it is only authorised for use on a differnent machine that we no longer own. I have searched the web but can only find ways round this that means all the data will be lost. We cannot be the only people with this problem does anyone have a solution?

Just sync it with your new laptop. Create a backup and jobs a gooden.

you can authorise it to more than one laptop. just make sure when you go into iTunes that you have the automatic sync turned off.
