Marco beach hotel

Yes that's it.

We stayed there for a week last year, booked it with Virgin Holidays ( just the room not the whole holiday)it is gorgeous and we are going back this year.

We didnt use the restaurant as it was being re furbished , but there is a beach cafe and there are staff when you go to the beach who come with you and put your towels out and will bring you drinks and snacks right to your sun bed.

The parking was a little pricey but you got 6% off when booking with Virgin.

The beach is beautiful and we have the best suntan!

We were in a Gulf View room and regularly saw a pod of Dolphins out to sea.

The pool is lovely but we found it too hot ( first world problems I know)

We made our meals in the room as it had a full kitchen, we brought food from Walmart on the mainland, Marco can be a bit expensive but it is so beautiful.

There are restaurants on the island , but we have been lucky enough to go to the US a lot and sometimes fancy a home-cooked meal.

We are going to this hotel in April for a week, booked through virgin accommodation only (got a great price). We’ve got an ocean view suite. Can’t wait. Had 5 nights in Naples last year and loved it there.

The gulf view suites are beautiful, If you are taking snacks etc buy before you get to the hotel as its a bit expensive on the island

Thanks for that info. We’re at Disney the four nights before for the Star Wars run so will do a Walmart trip while we’re on our way down or while we’re in Orlando. Can’t wait!
