What size car for 2 adults and 2 children?

Hi all. For the first time ever, our next Disney holiday will be just me, DH, DS (12) and DS (9) . We usually go with friends/family and hire minibuses. This time we won't need such a big vehicle, but I'm worried that a 'normal' family saloon won't be big enough for our suitcases (4 cases plus 4 hand luggage bags. What do you think?

We are 2 adults an 11year old an 11 month old. We are hiring a full sized car, hoping for a dodge charger if truth be told.

We drive a passat at home so basically whatever we can fit into our car to go to the airport with, will be what we will be fitting into the hire car.

If anyone thinks we need something bigger, please say so now while it s cheaper to upgrade rather than at the desk.

All you need is a car similar size to what you drove to the airport. I had to listen to a sales rep tell me a focus was too small for me when I drove 4 hours to the airport in one before I got there. I chop and change I had a convertible one year and a full size suv the next. Done it on a budget and last time and took a focus which was more than adequate I think we all get a bit carried away with the whole car experience of the holiday lol

We always used toget a compact and managed just fine. Last few trips we have had a ford escape but we didn't need it. It was fun though

I don't think that I get carried away. It all part of the holiday experience for me that I'm willing to pay for.

a full size will be sufficient, have hired many times in usa, always a full size, in the past been a dodge charger, quite a big boot, if you get a choice of similar it can be ford taurus, that is the biggest one go for that, or the next biggest is the chevy impala.
