Could be or could be because they’ve just been released. That said, from Glasgow economy classic is around what I’d expect.

I have just booked 2 rtn PE seats from Glasgow 19th Sep - 3rd Oct and I found the prices were cheapest the day after release. They have only gone up since then, it could be because they are inflating prices to then give the appearance of Black Friday sale or it could be TC related. Its not just Sep prices though, Iv tracked prices since May 2019 for May 2020 and every month has rocketed in price since TC collapse.

Manchester to MCO late Sept Ł537, Gatwick to MCO same dates Ł349, I think Virginy are making the most of their monopoly on direct flights. They are there to make profits but will lose some goodwill.

VA tickets work across a fare code system so I would guess that because of the TC collapse, more people have got in there quick and purchased the cheaper, less flexible but heavily discounted fare codes leaving only the more expensive tickets available. Gatwick fares are still available on their cheapest class of around 11 different economy ticket fares. Just looking at one date and comparing the difference between the two morning flights out of LGW and MAN, the Manchester flight has almost 3 times as many economy seats booked so far.
RE miles flight, it looks as if direct reward flights are only loaded up until 6th September outgoing at the moment. It means getting a reward seat from Manchester is much harder this year and that it's a lot more legwork to get them. Good luck!

The flights I’m looking at from Manchester were only released two days ago so I doubt there were any cheaper seats available in Economy, the first day they were bookable they were over Ł600. Waiting to see what happens.

Poor Thomas Cook are getting the blame for everything these days. It makes a change from Brexit I suppose. Incidentally I'm also looking at flights for next September, Virgin from Gatwick. They're not bad.

Excited about Disney

Hi We had no problems booking our PE Reward flights MAN to MCO direct going 19th Sept 2020 to 6th Oct. We always book each leg on the first day of availability we do this twice each year (Sept & March), this time I was calling Virgin at 5am and the seats had just been loaded. They do not seem to be releasing as many each day, we got the last 2 at 5am for our outward flight.
