BTM for the thrill and ride. I love the theming of SDMT but it’s too short.

Although BTM holds fond memories of our first visit, we love the theme of SDMT - I love Snow White so I voted for SDMT

Big Thunder wins for me. 7DMT is a great starter for a 4/5 year old, but Big Thunder is brilliant
Our DD age 3 has about half an inch to grow to a be able to ride in April - we are hoping she makes the height as she'll love it. But for the rest of us, we didn't even bother going on it this year. |

I voted BTM, but I love SDMT. I’m a coaster wimp, so I’m happy I’ve finally managed to go on BTM. It does still scare me though and I think I’ve hit my coaster limit.

Love both but 7dmt has the edge for me... love the theming and I find it smoother. I guess I’m more about the ‘experience’ rather than the thrill these days... must be a sign I’m getting old, lol.

This is a total no-brainer for me. Just look at the return on investment if you have to wait any more than 30 minutes... BTM hands down in my book. Theming is a draw (maybe slight edge to SDMT). Queue is a draw (maybe slight edge to SDMT..debatable as BTM is mostly covered and shaded). Actual ride experience as a coaster clear win to BTM. Ride length is no contest, clear BTM win. Ease of riding and scoring extra FPs (especially at rope drop), clear BTM win there too. Rootin-est and tootin-est...no contest.
To confirm I'm not nuts, I just asked my coaster junkie 9 year old son and he said BTM with no hesitation. |
