DD has German on Monday and then there is Prom prep - nails, hair, spray tan, for Prom on the 20th, then DD's delayed birthday party (her birthday was in the middle of exams) followed by Wireless and then we're off - 25 days until we head to Gatwick Premier Inn

Son finished today with physics. Said it went good & was delighted that the solar system came up on it as this is an area he knows very well.
He doesn’t actually leave this school as he’ll be back to do his A levels here so still another 2 years in uniform!

Its over! Yay! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 My son is delighted. Out celebrating already with his mates. Hoping all of them have done well, roll on results day!

Not commented too much on here but Dd has finished hers today! Phew!
She’s been relatively chilled throughout the whole experience but we will see if that has paid off when the results come in!

She has prom on the 25th and then in 5 weeks we are off to Florida for 4 weeks- she can’t wait!

I now have a house full of boys. We’ve had a Dominos, the garage fridge is full of drinks and the boys are burning their books!

All over with. She said physics was ok so I'm pleased as she finds physics difficult at times. She has now decided she doesn't want to leave school and doesn't want to be 16 haha.
After all the fiasco over not allowing them to leave they had a good send off after the exam. Some old teachers came back which they loved so got photos and then when they had to go they hadn't realised but they had got the whole school to line up and clap and cheer them as they left! That was breaking point for my usually non emotional child. I've been so emotional myself today as I can't believe my baby has left, she's not old enough haha
She said she is going to sleep the next 5 weeks and catch up on the sleep she has missed over the past 5 years with starting school at 8am.
There was a leavers get together (not in an appropriate place in my opinion and from what we've heard police had heard and would be heading there) but she didn't want to go so we've went out for a meal. She is competing all weekend so it was a great excuse to stop some friend from nagging her. She did say tonight she felt lost and guilty that she wasn't revising!
Prom is July 10th then we going to Florida July 29th. Collect her results then head to France. She has an extra week off because the 6th form she is going to has just had a new build so everything will need reorganising.

My dd was totally bamboozled as they had not done the space part of physics. But what’s done is done.
I think I’d prefer if my dd was in a form of uniform to 6th form, but alas this isn’t the case.
