Bellagio Hotel
I've gotten a price that I'm thinking is quite good for flights and a 5 night stay at the Bellagio from BA.(connecting flights from Aberdeen and coming back from Orlando on the way home.)
Has any dibbers stayed there that could tell me their thought on it?

I stayed there in 2009 so a few years ago now, but loved it. It is very busy as there is a lot of through traffic of people who just want to look around, visit the buffet, lots of high end shops, go to the show etc.
We had a room that overlooked the fountains and you could put the TV onto the music channel so the fountain music played in the room while you watched them from the window - was lovely and a real highlight of our stay. That said, we haven't stayed there since as I wanted to try a different hotel and saw the Cosmopolitan being built on that stay and wanted to stay in a room with a balcony overlooking the fountains which we did. I think it's in a great location on the strip as well with lots around it, particularly the shops next door at Caesars and the Miracle Mile shops over the road at Planet Hollywood. I would definitely stay again if the price was right. Edited at 04:12 PM. |

Nice, Big, Expensive, and very busy. As above its in a great location with easy walking to 2 malls at Caesars and PH. I'd try for a fountain view, well worth it I thought. Rooms are big with a shower stall and bath tub, and a phone by the toilet yuck I thought, not touching that!
If you can great a great price go for it, but there are other equally as nice - if different hotels on the strip.

It's amazing. Definitely go for it if it's in budget. We had a pool view room and it was fab.

I've stayed there twice, and loved it! It can be very busy in the lobby and conservatory area. But the location is great, we love to eat at the Bellagio Cafe even when not staying there. The pool area is beautiful and the gelato is divine from the gelato shop opposite the pool entrance. Another favourite is Jean Phillipe patisserie its great, lots of yummy pastries, crepes and coffees

If it's in your budget go for it. As others have said the pool is great, lots of choice of good restaurants and a good mid strip location.
I'd happily go back. |
