Best area/hotel to visit Universal and travel into LA?
Trying to get cracking on my itinerary.
I'm thinking we will spend the first couple of days after arrival at Universal and a day in LA, before travelling to the coast. Any ideas?

We liked the Sheraton universal there is a Hilton next to it . Not the cheapest of hotels but the location is ideal for universal .

I have just posted about our stay on someones question about the Burbank area so won't go on about it here, but we stayed in Holiday Inn Express North Hollywood which was only a stop away from Universal City and then you walk over to get the transport bus up the hill to Universal.
Hotel was superb and very very reasonable. |
