Internal US Flights and Hotels

Hi all,

I've just booked some reward seats with Virgin for next year.

26th July - 14th August 2017
LHR->JFK out and LAS->LGW back.
£950 in taxes for the four of us.

Can anyone offer any advise as the best time to book internal USA flights and who with?

I'd be looking to go from JFK to SFO or LAX around the end of July.

Also, does anyone have any hotel suggestions for San Fransisco, Yosemite and LA?

We have always used southwest airlines for our internal flights. Very reasonable prices and 2 suitcases free each. A lot of companies charge extra for luggage. We try and book when flights are released we find that's the best prices. Sign up to their website .

We also used Southwest for our internal flight from SD to SF last year we booked about 6 months before.

The flights on the site are showing up to April 2017 so I'll keep my eye on them.

Another fan of Southwest here, although they don't allocate you a seat, so you may want to consider adding their auto check in to ensure you sit together, depending on who is travelling.

Another vote for southwest, I always look at them first. Our delta flights last weekend we're good too
