Its a street back form the beach and you can stroll along the beach either way to Venice beach (check out the calypso tumblers there!)
or the other way to Santa Monica Pier, some characters not to be missed there...

We stayed at Hermosa in the Beach House on the beach a lovely place with loads of shops and restaurants on the doorstep. Spacious rooms with a raised bed area and a living area with sofa bed and fire such a nice touch,also a mini kitchen ,breakfast included.We had a room on a high floor and used to go to sleep with the patio doors open and the fire on listening to the waves rolling in 😊😊😊 heaven.

We have just booked Redondo Beach Hotel at Redondo. The beach is just across the road and it's next to the marina

We looked at that hotel, looks fabulous, same group that runs Belamar in Manhattan beach, it will be fabulous, and Cheescake Factory just across the road!

I was looking at Seaside Motel in Redondo which is a 10 minute drive from beach.

you will love it. When we stayed on the beach we hired bikes for the day and rode along the Strand well worth it, just stop off when you feel like it no worries about parking.
