I’ve ordered quite a few pairs from the u.k site over the years but the ones I really want are only on the American site and they don’t ship to the u.k unfortunately 🙁

You could try one of the personal shoppers? I’ve not used one but both Angelbabe & fairytale shopper come highly recommended on here.

Dillard's sell them and usually have a good selection. Saks Off Fifth at the outlets sometimes have them too. They used to be hard to find in Florida but not now.

It's quite expensive to ship to the UK, I think that's perhaps why many stores don't.
