It was 37 here at 2pm today and very humid. It was our first day in the parks today after arriving yesterday and we found it tough going first thing. We took it steady and drank plenty of water and used the A/c in the shops to cool down.

We've nipped to Walmart this evening to buy a fan to help when we're back tomorrow. It was lovely by late afternoon albeit it did rain a few times too.

My goodness! Had a torrential thunder and lightening downpour tonight... wind tore a panel from the pool screen 😬... so much rain fell that the pool overflowed😱. We have been here at this time of year for the past 10 years , this has been the hottest we have known... and also not seen as much rainfall when we have been here🙁
