We always do early at the start of the holiday and may use evening towards the end. To be honest our boys have always been to tired to make much use of evening hours but hopefully they will be able to enjoy them this year.

We do it slightly differently and always stay on site at the beginning of the holiday to make the most of the jet lag and being up so early and plan our park days around morning EMH. Its always worked for us but then we'd never make the evening ones

We never made it to morning extra magic hours. We did go to the evening ones and they were still very busy. I have heard mornings are quieter. Hopefully I'll manage to wake up on time

I have done both morning and evening at Magic Kingdom. Hated the morning and loved the evening. MK is lovely at night and it was quiet in the parks. Riding BTM was good too.

We didn't like EMH as not everything was open and people just seemed really pushy when the proper rope drop happened and we could go over to BTM and Splash Mountain. It was like a bun fight.

I have never done either. DH has tried MK extra evening hours and said it was awful, he only lasted about 15-20 minutes.

In September we are planning to make quite a bit of use of the extra morning hours at all the parks.

It’s only really the last hour that’s quieter, more so when it was for 3 hours and later closing times. The first 15/20 mins is still like regular park hours as it takes time for off site people to leave.

He wasn’t there for the first 15 minutes, this was somewhere in the middle towards end of it, we were at the Contemporary and he strolled over after dinner when I was heading for bed. He is a tolerant and patient person, so I believe him when he says it was horrendously busy.

I was planning morning on our first trip next year, just wondering how they remove the non onsite people for the extra evening hours
