big price drop Alamo brits - Aug

Just to let you know I checked my car hire on Alamo Brits this morning for a trip in August and the cost of the std SUV had dropped £23 for my visit. always worth a check - now £314 for 11 days. Goes without saying I rebooked then cancelled the old one.

Might be worth a check for those of us going in August

Thank you for this, we were booked with thrifty and dreading it due to the toll costs driving from and to Miami, we paid £35 extra with Alamo brits but I have better peace of mind over added extras now 😁

My Aug/Sept booking is creeping down but still more than I paid.

However I was up early today and at 5.30am spotted my Nov booking had dropped £5.40p. Now rebooked.

Posted a bit ago that a seven seater van for our 3 week period from October had gone to over £2,000 but it's now down to £740 which is only a few pounds more than we paid. I get there will always be price diffences but would love to know how it can vary so much.

I see that on Alamo/Brits it says says "You will be requested to present your copy of the Brit Guide in order to qualify for your rental at time of pick up"

Where do you buy one of these (how much) and do you really need one?
