Mobile How hellish is Hollywood Studios going to be in early September?

Hi, we’re going for a week in early September and will probably buy a weeks pass even though we have no interest in returning to Epcot or Animal Kingdom. With that in mind... I’m not sure what to do about Hollywood Studios though, we’d like to do/see:

- Fantasmic
- Toy Story Mania
- Smugglers Run
- Star Tours
- Tower of Terror (maybe)
- Beauty and the Beast show (maybe)

I’m guessing the park will be insanely busy, what kind of queue times would we be looking at? Thank you

I suspect it will be very busy but no one knows for sure how busy nor what the queue times will be. It may even be quieter than expected like Disneyland currently is (apparently).

However, I suspect you'll be able to do everything on your list except maybe Smugglers Run. That's the one ride that might have really long queues (3 hours or more).

Also I feel that GE will have its own queue along with the SR queue so you could have a 3 hour queue on the ride but how long do you need to queue to get into GE in the first place? Its so hard to know either way. I'm still not sure if I will bother or not but booked as if I'm going and then going to see how crowds are.

It will be busy no question, but I don't think it's gong to be hell on earth as Disney are obviously panicking by introducing free dining over the fall as I think everyone is just thinking that they will avoid it as it is going to be so busy. It definitely looks like it is going to be busier in late Aug this year than last which again suggests people avoiding GE.

Maybe as busy as Disney Land Holywood.

Who really wants to go just after opening for a land where the main ride isnt even open yet.
