Italy calling us home again... Gatwick Hotel needed ?

We are now looking to go back to Italy again next year, we said we wouldn't but the Lake calls us back always.

I have looked at some prices for Gatwick Hotels and the seem expensive. Should I wait nearer the time (June)… would I get a cheaper deal ?

We do need parking ?

We are going back to Venice next year in March . I have just booked the North Terminal PI always good value and we like the restaurant then I just book seperate parking.

I had booked the PI but for our dates, but it was cheaper to get a hotel and parking deal together, so I cancelled. I have booked the Courtyard by Marriott where we have stayed before, it’s in walking distance of south terminal, was £176 for one night stay and 15 nights parking next August. I usually look on holiday extras to give me an idea of what’s available and then check the hotel prices direct.

We stayed at Premier Inn South on London Road. It was about a 5 min drive from the airport but SO much cheaper. It was a bit of an older PI but still clean and comfy and came in for us about £50 I think and the others were over £100.

My fav will always be the Sofitel, though it is quite expensive and then I suppose the Premier Inn North.

However in September we used the Bloc and were really impressed.

Got a quote and with parking it was £230 ish.

I thought that was expensive. I know the Sofitel is probably £300+ but for the Bloc I was surprised. x

Try the Cumberland House at Horley. Parking onsite. Breakfast and transport to/from terminal included.
