Sock Assist?
Might seem an odd request but can anyone recommend a good 'appliance' or gadget for helping put your socks on? I have a dodgy hip and knee and googling 'sock assistant' came up with a bewildering assortment of aids. Christmas is coming and I've been asked for my 'Christmas list', not very exciting I know but at 73 it'll make my life blooming easier!

There are often”living aids” at our local chemists. You could probably find them in the mobility shops too. I hope you find one that’s good for your needs.

There are quite a few on Amazon with a lot of good reviews.
My Wife got given a booklet when she went to her pre op hip class and they recommended the following websites helpinghand nrs-uk homecraft-rolyan handyhealthcare essentialaids betterlifehealthcare otstores cosyfeet Plus Asda and Argos. Edit. Some of these are for mobility scooters etc so you will have to weed out the pertinent ones
