New York over Thanksgiving weeknd

I’ve booked us a trip to NYC over thanksgiving next year, 3 nights and because of the flight tomes we pretty much the majority of travel day there. We got a really good deal with BA, Ł1724 flights, hotel and luggage for the 4 of us.

Dh & I have been before, but the kids will be 14 & nearly 13. We will be travelling the day before thanksgiving, but I was wondering what good things there are going on during the actual day, and will we need to make a reservation at a restaurant rather than get a walk up? It’s not a problem just want to be prepared and not eat at Wendy’s all weekend lol. Any other teen friendly activities/restaurants to visit?

That is great package.

Ten years ago we went to New York for thanksgiving. It was amazing day. but don't go to Fifth Avenue for restaurant as it was very expensive. We end up had bowl of soup and I had fish cakes it was very expensive. We cannot afford to have dinner there. I cannot remember name of restaurant something two names Ben & guy. Please go somewhere.

Parade was awesome too and we were lucky to had mild weather not too cold.

Lots of thing to see and please go to Top of the Rock about 4 pm and you will see beautiful place.
