Disney-Style theme park for England ?

Bear in mind that they haven't yet got any funding in place to build this park. They need to raise billions from investors.

I would love it to happen, but just don't see it right now.

More people in the South East, plus it's near the Channel Tunnel so people from mainland Europe can visit easily too.

Anyway, Alton Towers is up north (from my point of view), so don't be greedy

I’m a ‘Southerner’ but I’d bet a lot of ‘Northerners’ are a closer drive than me. It’s just about population modelling isn’t it?

Personally I highly doubt this park will ever be built, especially with the current economic (and political) context.

We can travel to it.

Many of us already travel to DLP or WDW - as well as places like Europa Park, Portaventura, Efteling, Gardaland, etc. This park will be closer to us northerners than any of those.

However, the main two questions to ask are: (1) will it be good enough to make it worthwhile travelling there, and (2) will it actually happen?
