Mobile ESTA question

I'm due to fly to miami on 9 October. My esta has expired and I'm just about to complete the form for a new one.

Should I do this now as they are not accepting visitors from the UK (I think! ).

Any advice would be appreciated x

A few dozen Dibbers have successfully applied for new ESTAs since the travel ban - including us in May.

One tip - don't do your API yet as some evidence on here that doing so may be construed as an "attempt to travel" and ESTA may be cancelled.

I have just attempted to complete an ESTA but got an error message about UK passports not being valid for waiver program, presume they have shut it down for now.

Anybody else had similar?

I had no problem back at the end of May so it may just be glitch.

Assume that you're using the official site

esta.cbp.dhs.gov/

Yea it was all fine until I filled in the country that issued the passport (UK) and the error message popped ‘not eligible for visa waiver program’

Must be a glitch then because the UK is certainly still one of the VWP nations.
