Hi everyone, we have just booked a 4 night stay here for in two weeks time, having never been to Cornwall (my husband and I and our 13 month old baby).

Does anyone have any tips for places to see and visit in Newquay and St Ives? We are looking for cafe breakfasts, a nice cream tea, a family friendly atmosphere with things going on.

I have Fistral beach and Perrenporth Beachs for a more lively atmosphere, and Watergate Bay for a quieter beach. And also Porthminster beach for our day trip to St Ives. Any tips for St Ives, nice eateries?

We have blue reef aquarium in mind for if it rains!

4 nights, looks like your sorted !
Go to the fort inn beer garden and watch the surfers, my fave place for a pint !

In St Ives Porthminster is nice but worth going over the other side to see Porthmeor too...
I love St Ives but haven�t been for a good few years cos I�m the only driver and it�s a good long way...
