Just about sums us up. Won't be within 15 miles of WDW. We can happily spend our 4 weeks round the villa pool reading, swimming and sunbathing. We normally have around 90% of meals out but if we can't (safely or legally ) we'll drive a mile down the road and buy stuff from Publix and cook. If we have to wear a mask for those occasions then we will.

And like you we're strangely capable of looking after ourselves and being courteous to others.

We’ve got everything crossed. We’re due to fly in the 13th Dec until the 5th Jan. don’t care to much about the masks, it’s the new norm now! Certainly for the foreseeable future anyway. Best of luck with your choice and hope you get the holiday you want! Like someone said in an earlier post.

Haha, I think generally unlikely unless you are over 75 with health condition? Even then, you stand a good chance. It is more about the experience I think. I am still booked for September (of course waiting for BA to cancel) and also November 25/Dec 6th if OK. No issues for me as healthy 53 Yr old 😀

We’re flying Christmas Eve. Life has to go on, none of us have a crystal ball and I’ll take my chances!

Yes Mick, I could have written your reply. We’ll be happily spending our time in our place on the Gulf Coast. We eat out a fair bit but happy not to if we think that’s best. Also, so be it if we need to wear masks in Publix.

A more pressing issue to be honest is that back in Nov 2019 Joan only bought enough B&BW product to last until April. She's rationed herself to two squeezes in the bath from three but I don't know what we'll do if we don't make this Nov.

We still have 6 unused days on Disney tickets that don't expire till 2030,we will use them if we get to fly, I'd be no more worried about going to a theme park there than I would be going to anywhere in the UK, life is rattling on at some speed, and needs to be lived.

Yes Mick, we missed stocking up in May, I've given so much away I need to restock on my foaming hand wash and wee anti bacs. 😁

Haha. I’m exactly the same. I didn’t bother restocking much in January as we were supposed to be back in March! It’s a very pressing issue indeed!

For goodness sake, Linda or any one of us could be hit by a bus tomorrow or something else that makes us 'stop living'. Just because you COULD develop Covid-19 and you COULD die from it, it doesn't mean that you should lock yourself away completely until it's completely gone. I'm sorry for the people who have lost someone from it, and for anyone who has had or known someone to have it, but this kind of negative thinking wont get you anywhere.

Life is full of risks. Period.
