Virgin holiday - payment due tomorrow

Hi all

Full payment is due tomorrow for a holiday from 5th November

Anyone know whether there is any grace on this date

Tried to call they won’t help as the holiday isn’t in the next three weeks

Did an online form, no response

Any advice appreciated

Sorry cannot help but I am in the same boat in a few weeks time.

I had a general email today where they stated you have to pay at 12 weeks and they will advise up to 21 days before travel if there are any changes

If you defer the payment they will help to rebook your holiday at a later date.

They also said the shops are reopening and can help with queries ( I bet online bookings are not covered).

We should have paid a week ago our final balance we haven’t! But a family friend who works or did work for Virgin said they will contact you to tell you your payment is overdue so we are holding out for that email to come, my daughters payment was due 4 days before ours she still hasn’t had a reminder, we both recieved the generic email today too thinking that was it, but still awaiting a reminder xx

We didn't pay ours. I was advised by virgin holidays that as long as you have tried to contact them before the balance was due there would be no issues.

We were due to pay on 16 July, didn’t pay, heard nothing and flights cancelled at the weekend.

I would think they have to send you a reminder I would probably leave it seven days and then issue an email (log a phone call) to discuss your options if they do not indicate you will loose your deposit. Then push it as far as you can (reminding them on a weekly basis) that you need to discuss your options until you hit a point where your flights are cancelled.
