Thinking about booking for Xmas - what to do?

We're thinking about booking a mini trip late December. I can see that there is availability at the hotel but how would I know if I can get into the parks? Until I book the accommodation and get my park tickets how do I book entry into the parks? I would hate to book the hotel but then not be able to go to the parks!

Also looking at paying for full board dining plan plus - will we get breakfast, lunch and dinner for the 2 nights we are staying and can the credits be used over the 3 days we are on site?

Are all the restaurants open? Is it even worth getting the dining plan?

Sorry last question - if there is a second lockdown do you know if Disney will refund/reschedule? We don't yet have travel insurance but am assuming that anything Covid related will not be covered by any new policy so just wondering if I will have some coverage direct with Disney. (Please note I will still take out travel insurance).

So want to be excited about something but am nervous about pressing the button!

If you book a Disney hotel direct through disneyland Paris you will be guaranteed entrance to the parks for your stay. We are booked for 16th to 20th Dec. We are staying at newport bay and got free half board dining plan free. We booked it back in Jan before covid was affecting everything. I think disney are letting people change dates etc if need be. We are going on the eurostar. I booked that direct with them but if for some reason we can't go due to quarantine etc they won't refund we will have to reschedule.

Thank you Rachv38 for your reply. I hate being this indecisive but if there is the option to move it to another date that gives me a little peace of mind. Thank you for confirming we will be able to get into the parks.
