We booked Glasgow to MCO via LGW for just under £400pp a few days ago through BA.
Dates are 21st June to 5th July.
Pretty sure your dates weren't that much more expensive.

Layover time there and back was max 2 hours.

Last week in June is normally when we fly and we aim for £1600-£1800 for 4 of us from Glasgow.

We did book fly/drive with BA so overall price was just under £2200 but hire car was over £600 if booked alone through FDCH so flights worked out very cheap.

Sorry, but that’s not a good price for direct let alone indirect.

If people are happy to book with Virgin they have economy classic Manchester to Orlando return £425 each Sat 19 June - Sat 3 July.

Doh, I booked very similar dates to you from Glasgow, albeit in to Miami with BA as a Flydrive and is a bit over 2k for 3 off us.
Live n learn...

Edit, I’ve just seen your count down, we’re going out the same day.
