Just back from DLRP - a couple of tips

Just had 3 nights 4 days use out of our Dream Passes at DLRP. This was our third trip and our most enjoyable. Probably because the weather was the nicest we have had there so far...

...anyway wanted to pass on a couple of tips.

1. If you have an annual pass to DLRP you can park in the Disney Village car park for 2 euros a day. Passholders can park for free in the hotels or the main car park but the 2 euros is well worth it as it is so much closer to the parks. We used this every day - it took 2-3 mins to walk to once out of the parks.

2. We stayed in the Residhome Val D'Europe. Not seen these mentioned on here. They are 1 or 2 bedroomed apartments. We took a 2 bedroomed apartment at a cost of £116 per night through Hotels.com. They are small and compact but have a nice bathroom, bedroom, bunk bed cabin for the kids and a lounge and dining area. If you are doing DLRP on a budget they are ideal as there is a small kitchenette for making snacks and breakfasts. I actually did a couple of pasta dishes as we were trying to keep costs down.

Hope that helps someone.

Thanks for the tips They don't apply to me, but I'm sure they'll be useful for someone.

How were the parks? Hope the weather stays nice. 5 days and counting!

Hey Stephwa - hope you enjoy. Don't forget to head to Crush's Coaster first in Studios Park if you want to do it. It's not Fastpass and the queues are horrendous. We never got to do it.

This is definately high up on my list. Just need to figure out what days we're going to be at the Studios and whether its worth doing more than once. Probably try and get there on our first morning

The parks were very busy the day we arrived as it was the last night of the fireworks. Quietened down on following days. We managed Crush's Coaster twice. Once we queued for 50 mins one afternoon. The second time we arrived in the studios at about 9:30 and got into the rope drop queue for CC. Waited about 40 mins in total.

I cannot for the life of me work out why they didn't put fast pass on this one!

The good news was though that with most of the older kids being back at school we never saw a wait time of over 10 mins for Space Mountain, Tower of Terror or Rock'n'Roller. BTMR was another story but at least you can fast pass that one.
