My tip is to remember to enjoy Christmas.

Over the years we have found our own way. Food wise we just have a Sunday roast with added pigs in blankets... because that is what everybody likes.

Life is too short.

We also don't "set the table"... we put a Christmas colouring tablecloth on there the day before Christmas Eve and everyone (has been from age 3 to 87 over the years) has a bit of a relax when they want - colouring in elves...

Just remember, wax melts don’t burn away so they need replacing often.

Rather than using a knife, put the candle in the freezer for an hour and the wax will come out as a disk. Much easier and much less risk of stabbing you finger

If you fill the jar with boiling water the wax residue just floats to the top, easy to remove and use in burner without having to use a knife 👍
