Hollywood Studios Fastpass tiers once Star Wars opens
I know that nobody knows yet what Disney will do, but I'd be interested to hear peoples opinions on what the Fastpass tiers might look like at Hollywood Studios once Galaxy's Edge and Mickey and Minnie's Railway are open.

My guess...
Tier 1 Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run Rise of the Resistance Tier 2 Everything else (including Mickey Train) No need to over complicate. Once GE opens, all hell breaks loose and any existing ride drops precipitously in demand. |

I can see there been 4 rides in tier 1
1) Slinky Dog Dash 2) Toy Story Mania 3) Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run 4) Rise of the Resistance |

I wouldn't be surprised by a 3 tier system- but I suspect new star wars Tier 1 maybe with Runaway train and slinky included as well-

I reckon 3 tiers
1 Rise of Resistance Millennium Falcon 2 Slinky Dog Toy Story Mania Mickey and Minnie Railway 3 Everything else You will be able to pick one from Tier 1, one from Tier 2 and one from Tier 3. If you don't choose anything from tiers 1 or 2 you can pick more from Tier 3. Having just read that back that probably over complicated so I actually have no idea

Some interesting ideas!
I wonder if they will follow the same tiering system as AK with Pandora and just have the Star Wars stuff in tier 1 and everything else in tier 2. This is what they did when Toystoryland opened as it's the 3 toy story rides in tier 1 and everything else in tier 2. I think this is my preferred tiering system...which probably means they won't do it!

Thanks all for your thoughts. I had read some people on a facebook group I follow suggesting a three tier system but to me that seems really quite complicated. Some people I talk to already seem to be confused by a two tier system!
I think that if the two star wars rides and the Mickey and Minnie railway were tier one and everything else tier 2, then with SDD, TSMM, ASS, RRC and TOT there would be enough in tier two for people to be able to have free choice from those rides without needing to split the tiers any further. Of course I may be completely wrong! It is always possible that they might put SDD into tier one too but that would make touring even more difficult than it currently is at Epcot with three very popular rides in tier 1 and I can imagine it not being a very popular choice. |
