Mobile DDP credits

Does anyone know if you can use your dining plan credits for guests staying offsite? We have family staying at a different hotel but would like a meal together one night. Is it possible for us to use our table service credits for them or do they need to be Disney guests too? Thanks

You can use them as you like, we had loads of QS left over this year so took our family who were off site to lunch at ABC then got them snacks from Sweet Spells.

You can pay for random strangers if you want, Disney have really relaxed the rules on how you can spend your credits.

Just remember if you have any children (under 10) that their TS credits are separate and can't be used to feed adults. So you may run short on credits depending on the ages in your family. If you're getting the full DDP free (staying deluxe or villa) rather than upgrading from QS, it's really cheap to swap the child's plan to adult - only have to pay the ticket price increase, which is about £20 each.

This what we did on our last visit. Dd was 9 but we paid for an adult entrance ticket. We saved a few TS credits when she only wanted a kids meal but also gave her the flexibility to have food off the adult menu when she wanted to.

We kept her spare TS credits and used them for my friend and family when we went to California Grill. It was really lovely being able to treat our friends to a brilliant meal and to share the experience but without such a huge bill at the end. We only paid for drinks, 2 kids meals and tip 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

It's lovely to pixie dust people if you have an excess of credits...
