Why is it so much money

Hi I’m looking for two weeks car hire from Miami for next May, we usually have a SUV, prices are coming in around £600 😳 we have never paid this amount ever! What on earth is going on? This year we have paid £250 again for a SUV but from MCO. Has something occurred I’m not aware of lol

Greed plain and simple, imo not charging what it is worth but how much they think they can get away with.

Bad exchange rate, high demand..Memorial day being included
Not greed, but sharp business practices.

By the way I get £442 for a standard SUV from 10 th May for two weeks with gold ins from Alamo via VA. A good bit cheaper than your £600

Are you sure you paid only £250 for two weeks with fully inc insurance? I’ve never seen anything that cheap. One week, yes... two weeks no. I must be booking the wrong place

Thanks for that yeah I’ve just checked and it would be £445 still a lot more than I’ve paid before but best quote so far 😉

Try for a car for 10 days in November now, currently it's showing as £705 on Alamo Brits so you got a bargain.
