How to tell which places are quick service?
We are on the QSDP when we go in the summer and I have been looking at a lot of menus for the parks. When we are in the parks is there a way we know that a place is quick service ( for main meals not a snack) without having to check the Disney app or writing down where we could eat in each park beforehand?

Table service places tend to have a podium outside or just in the main door where you need to check in. QS places look more like a McDonalds set up once you're in.
Also, on the park map, the TS ones are marked with a red R next to them - meaning reservations recommended, whereas the QS places aren't. Be Our Guest is an exception as it's QS but has the outside podium and reservations are recommended too.

Basically, in QS places you queue up for your food whereas table service is just that. As loves2plan says there is usually a check in podium outside table service restaurants.

Essentially once you're in the park if someone or something stops you from going in and sitting at a table it's table service. If there's loads of people milling about and queues to order food it's counter service. As said, Be Our Guest is a combination of both and classed as QS.
