Yachtsman or Jiko?
Looking at the list of ts meals we've earmarked to book, we might have to cut a few out of the list... Yachtsman and Jiko both use 2 TS credits so maybe we could just choose one?! Which one? Both have very good reviews from what I've read.
Orrr should i keep them both and list all of the other 1ts credit restaurants for people to suggest eliminations from?! |

Id keep them both..Jiko is our family signature tradition, and we always include it on on ADR list, however our last two trips YS was outstanding both times, something I can't say for other signature restaurants we have tried, ( one year awesome, the next year pretty average ) Our first night last year we saved a t/s credit on our first night and just went c/s and we payed out of pocket at VN ( the three of us share the mezzo metro so it's a cheap night ) and that saved another t/s credit..

Haven't done Jiko but we loved the YS. We went with Dd5 and Dd6 and it was such a nice family meal, we've booked an ADR there for our next trip.

We did the Yachtsman a few years ago - the food was too rich for me.
We did Tiffins last year and loved it so we are going to do Jiko this year, it gets the best reviews.

We've been to both, twice. I think for a standard (lovely, don't get me wrong) sort of steak meal, go with the Yachtsman, but for a more adventurous menu and something a bit less mainstream, go for Jiko. So it maybe depends on what sort of food you prefer?
Jiko is DH's absolute favourite. |
