Just spent the night watching The Dis videos on You Tube and came across thier top 5 restaurants feature and Jiko came out top of Petes list and YS came out top of Olivers. We looked at both for this years adr's but neither made the list however they said on the video that even though its not on the menu anymore at Jiko if you ask they will do the fillet on mac and cheese with the red wine sauce. This for me is the best meal ive had at Disney so now mulling over cancelling Narcossees or Sanaa and another 1 credit (hopefully trex if kids agree) to book Jiko.

We did Boma, Sanaa and Mara. Adding Jiko this year.

Thanks rescuer...I've just binge read it! Really useful and it's changed/added/removed some of the restaurants from my plan (the plan is in my head so far!) I might consider Sanaa now, I'd initially worried that the menu wasn't varied enough for my little one but I'm sure he'd be fine. It looks so nice. Also, was it here you paid Oop for your lo? Can i ask why?
Teppan Edo was also a maybe for us, but you've convinced me that it needs a look...And also tusker house breakfast possibly instead of Boma.
Thanks for the heads up!

I upgraded my ds to the adult plan because he is such an adventurous eater. The night we went to Sanaa he had planned to have an adult meal but wasn't too hungry so just wanted butter chicken. I ordered him a kids meal and just kept his adult credit to add to another meal.
We love Tusker house early breakfast. I think our lack of love for Boma breakfast was down to tiredness.
What age is your little one? My ds has loved teppan Edo since his first visit at 5, where he cleared his plate of everything the chef gave him!

He will be just 4 ( we are going for his birthday which is a week before we go) he's not too bad at trying things, but there's time yet for fussiness to creep in! Out of interest how much was it to upgrade him?

It was the difference in price between the child and adult park ticket, not that much if I remember rightly, about £20. You can do it easily if you have booked with disney but not included your flights.

We have done it because ds eats loads and essentially eats everything but others do it and pay oop for kids meals then use the extra adult credits to pay for more meals or signatures. If you did it though and then used credits for you all at buffet places then the tip works out a little higher.

The first twice we took ds I didn't upgrade him and he was fine with kids meals. We normally end up paying for maybe 1 table service on top of our credits.
