BOG Lunch Only To Book?
I've read BOG is counter service during the daytime. Does that mean I can dine without a booking?

No, you still need an ADR. This is the only one I haven't been able to get.

You definitely need to make an ADR for lunch. Lots of people tried to walk up in August when we were there and we didn't see anyone be successful. The CMs at reception were obviously pretty tired of having to turn walk ups away, to the point where they seemed pleasantly surprised when they found someone who'd booked! I'd also recommend pre-ordering if you get an ADR for lunch as this saved a big queue too.

DD was lucky & got a booking for lunch 4 weeks before, just keep on checking.
She said people were looking at the menu displayed outside then going in only to be turned away. |

Keep checking if you haven't got an ADR yet as people do change their plans.

While lunch is hard to get unless you plan ahead, breakfast is another matter and you can get a booking with a few days notice

Not heard that before re breakfast. Most people I see on here struggle to get any booking including breakfast. I tried for weeks before we went in May, must have missed out on a dozen touringplans alerts! We went twice in the end, one was a booking made at 180 days and the other was a booking night before due to a cancellation.
I have just done some searches and it is available for breakfast over the next few days but I think that is because of cancelled holidays. Searching first two weeks of October and there is nothing available for breakfast on any day. |
